Most Therapeutic Veterinary Diets require a prescription from a licensed Veterinarian. At PetFoodDirect.com, we work with your Veterinarian to provide all the necessary diets to maintain or improve your pets' health. In addition, PetFoodDirect works with Veterinarians that are owners of, as well as advisors to, our staff at PetFoodDirect to further support your needs. Our policy is to adhere to the protocol set forth by the manufacturers of the diets in regards to maintaining the client-patient relationship.

A member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Dr. Wendy Zimmerman works with every department within PetFoodDirect to make sure our customers - and their pets- get the best pet foods, the best support, and the best service possible. Dr. Zimmerman received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the Ohio State College of Veterinary Medicine in 2002, and has been featured on Philadelphia's 6ABC Action News.
